The last project of this semester calls for the design of community swimming centre within a seaside community. The design should put emphasis on the respond to the context, community-related programmes and sustainability.

The disconnection between the locals and tourists touch upon the beach as a place of relaxation. As a community centre, it aims to cater the needs for the locals but open to every visitors. Thus, the concept of this community swimming centre is "a retreat", where they can "disassociate from the regular rhythm of daily life to achieve a changed state of mind".
