Context plays an important role in any project. This semester, our given site is the 4th Mile Beach at Port Dickson. Both tangible and intangible data are then collected and compiled into a report and presentation board.

Port Dickson, being a coastal city, is a famous tourist destination. The vast beach and beautiful scenery of the sea become a place of leisure and relaxation for the visitors. The captivating sunset sets a contemplative and calming mood. However, for the locals, as they have been living at the seaside for their entire life, have different perception of the place. Beach and sea are not conceived as a place for leisure. Thus, a disconnection between tourists and locals are forged.
