The first group assignment in this elective studio was to conduct a site study on historical buildings in Malaysia, which encompasses the establishment of the building, usage of the building according to a timeline, significant historical events at the building and its surroundings, and current ownership and management of the building.

The task has exposed us to the earliest buildings in Malaysia and developed our appreciation toward conservation. The findings were produced into a poster and a video which can be found here.
