The final project for this semester is the continuation of the previous project, to complete the making of Visitor Interpretive Centre. The design of the VIC demanded a strong relationship to the site through a series of spatial poetics and experiences.

 

Situated between the river and the lake, the VIC propose to revitalize the river that once was so important for the people but now abandoned. It endeavours to create experiences that retell the story of the river and its importance to the people as well as to make aware of its existence. 

 

The project taught me about the poetics of space, which separates buildings from architecture. How to create experiences, form perceptions of users and to make use of senses as well as response to the site. Thus, telling a beautiful story through the spaces.
