The project inquires us to conduct an in-depth analytical research study of a selected Asian Streets and will be continued in the second part of the project at the end of the semester.

The selected street for our group is Hang Dao Street, located in the Hanoi's Old Quarter, Vietnam. The study is based on Jan Gehl's Theory the he discusses in his book titled "Life Between Buildings" where it analyzes the relationship between outdoor activities and spatial properties of public spaces which forms the patterns of space use and social activities. In order to do so, the examination of several contact points and its varying degrees of contact intensity.
